A friend of mine had been trying to get some pouches made for a very long time. So, we combined forces to finish them off once and for all. In the process we've decided to design and manufacture a few more for the shops. Here are our first three designed very carefully to fit their future users tastes.
The phone pouche has changed a bit since I took these photos. When Laura gave it to her friend it turned out the phone was much taller than we thought (it's apparently massive) and Laura has added and changed elements to fit it.
This one was our first make and I am particularly please with how straight I managed to get those chevrons.
Our Ipad pouche was quite the challenge. It's also the only one made for a guy. So Laura chose her fabrics carefully making sure it was masculine. The inside makes me think of notebooks and a hanky sticking out of a jacket pocket.
We'll be making a few Ipad cases and phone cases with the remaining felt and modifying our original designs so we can produce them more easily. There were a number of late nights as we tried to work out the order to sew layers and what shapes to decorate them with. Hopefully we can lessen those with templates and earlier starts. :)
They are an Ipad case, a phone case and a bag for Mac Book cables and mouse.
